Everything you might want to know before booking. If your question isn't here, a complimentary Clarity Call is a lovely place to start.

Getting Started

Which consultation should I book?+
If you're unsure where to start, I recommend a complimentary 15-minute Clarity Call. If your concerns are primarily health-related — digestive issues, fatigue, blood sugar, hormones or general wellbeing — book a Nutrition Consultation. If they're primarily skin-related — acne, rosacea, pigmentation, skin ageing or skincare overwhelm — book a Skin Consultation. For acne or rosacea support both internally and externally, start with a Skin Consultation and we can discuss whether nutritional therapy may also help.
Do you offer online consultations?+
Yes. Nutrition Consultations and Clarity Calls can be conducted online. Skin Consultations may be offered online in certain circumstances, although in-person assessments are generally preferred where treatment is being considered.

Nutrition

What happens during a Nutrition Consultation?+
Before your appointment you'll complete an intake form and food diary so I can understand your health history and current concerns. During our consultation we'll explore your symptoms, health history, diet, lifestyle, sleep, stress levels and any previous test results, then identify potential contributing factors and create a personalised plan. Afterwards you'll receive a written report with recommendations, nutrition and lifestyle guidance, supplement suggestions where appropriate, and any further investigations if required.
How many nutrition sessions will I need?+
This depends on your goals, symptoms and the level of support you're looking for. Some people benefit from a single consultation and action plan, while others prefer ongoing support and accountability as they implement changes over time. If ongoing support would help, we can discuss follow-up consultations and programme options during our session.
Can you review blood test results?+
Yes. I can review existing blood test results and help explain what they may mean in the context of your symptoms and health goals. Please note that nutritional therapy does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment, and any concerns requiring further medical investigation will be referred to your GP or specialist.

Skin Treatments

What skin treatments do you offer?+
I work with a range of evidence-informed treatments and continue to invest in ongoing education to offer the most effective approaches available. Current treatments include:
  • Exosome Microneedling — £400
  • Cellstory (Korean Liquid Microneedling) — £275
  • Microneedling — £169
  • Chemical Peel Programmes — from £150
  • Hydrating & Barrier Repair Treatments
  • Personalised Skincare Recommendations

Every plan is tailored to the individual. During your consultation I'll assess your skin, discuss your goals and recommend the most appropriate approach. Long-term programme prices can be discussed during the consultation.

What happens during a Skin Consultation?+
I'll assess your skin, discuss your concerns, treatment history and goals, and review your current skincare routine. I'll also explore any lifestyle, nutrition or health factors that may be influencing your skin. Following the assessment, I'll recommend the most appropriate treatment plan, skincare recommendations and next steps. Where suitable, treatment may be performed on the same day.
How many skin treatments will I need?+
This varies depending on your concerns, goals and how your skin responds. Some people notice improvements after a single treatment, while others achieve the best results through a series of treatments combined with a personalised homecare routine. During your consultation I'll provide realistic expectations and recommendations based on your individual circumstances.
Can I have a treatment on the same day as my Skin Consultation?+
In many cases, yes — provided there are no contraindications and sufficient time has been allocated. I recommend avoiding retinol, retinal, tretinoin and other vitamin A products for at least seven days before your appointment, in case we decide to proceed with a peel or Cellstory treatment on the day.
Are treatments suitable for all skin types?+
Every treatment plan is personalised. Your consultation allows me to assess your skin, understand your concerns and determine which treatments are safe, suitable and likely to provide the best results for your specific needs.

Functional Testing

Do I need functional testing?+
Not necessarily. Many people see significant improvements through targeted nutrition, lifestyle and skincare recommendations alone. Where appropriate, I may recommend testing to provide additional insight into areas such as gut health, nutrient status, hormone balance or genetic factors. Any recommendations will always be discussed with you first and are entirely optional.
What functional tests do you work with?+

Blood Test Review — I can review results from your GP or private tests in the context of your symptoms and nutritional status, and may suggest additional tests to discuss with your healthcare provider.

DUTCH Hormone Testing — a detailed assessment of hormone patterns and metabolism, which may suit concerns such as hormonal acne, menstrual irregularities, perimenopause or persistent fatigue.

Gut Health Testing — comprehensive stool testing offering insight into digestive function, the microbiome, inflammation and markers that may warrant further investigation.

Nutrigenomics — DNA testing that shows how your genetics may influence nutrient metabolism, detoxification, inflammation and exercise response, helping personalise recommendations.

Is functional testing necessary?+
Not always. Many people achieve excellent results through personalised nutrition, lifestyle changes and targeted supplementation alone. Where testing may add value, I'll explain why I recommend it, what it may reveal, and whether it's likely to change our recommendations. My aim is always to recommend the most appropriate approach for you, rather than testing for the sake of testing.
